Registration Reminder for Homegrown Leaders West!

Homegrown Leaders is a program we only hold three times a year: once each in western, eastern, and central North Carolina and we’re bringing this 2.5-day regional leadership training to Boone on June 23-25.

During this leadership training, you will:

  • Explore real-world data, assets, & best practices shaping rural economies

  • Build collaborative leadership habits & hone interpersonal communication

  • Learn how to move ideas into action & advocate for community change

  • Harness skills for connecting across perspectives

  • Tap into Rural Center programs, learning opportunities, & alumni network

  • And more

Training Dates & Location

This in-person training will take place June 23-25 in Boone at Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute’s Watauga Campus.

Total Program Cost: $500

The program fee is comprised of the following:

$75 Registration fee (required for all participants)
$425 Training fee*

Includes training materials, daily continental breakfast and catered lunch, and a networking social event.

* Limited scholarships are available to cover the training fee for those with the greatest financial need. If you’d like to apply for a scholarship, please indicate that when you register.
